Supporting Poor Candidate

I have a personal policy against giving to political campaigns.  There is too much money in politics as it is.  Money also acts as a bar against the political participation of poor people and lower economic classes.  My friend, the amazing Black Lives Matter and Pause the Calls activist Miriam Smith is one of those people.  Miriam is running for a seat on the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District.  Miriam, her nine children and her grandchildren have all gone to school in the district and she feels that "Blacks have been overlooked for years."  Please join me in supporting Miriam's basic needs so that she doesn't deplete what little money trying to self-fund her campaign.
