I am walking 100,000 steps in one day for children!
My personal philosophy is that the children of today are our leaders of tomorrow. You never know which kids that are currently in our schools and neighborhoods will grow up to solve cancer or get us to mars, or do something we can’t even IMAGINE!
For this reason, it’s so important to ensure that the children of today, are properly supported and looked after in their journey through life. The charity Save the Children supports children in their health, education and protective needs - a charity WORTHY of your support.
In 2019, Save The Children directly impacted 38.7 million kids around the world, and positively made a difference to the world we live in. This year, children around the world are facing even more troubles and it’s the responsibility of the more fortunate to help those in need.
On the 21st of November, I (along with 3 friends) will be attempting a challenge to complete 100,000 steps in one day. This is going to be a huge mission, with constant walking for the majority of the day, and some breaks for food and drinks. I originally matched donations dollar for dollar until the $500 fundraiser mark was reached. If I fail to complete 100,000 steps, I will be doubling my personal contribution.
However, I have still not reached my fundraising goal of $1000 and would really appreciate any support that you guys can offer. Every dollar counts
