Help Coach Carter Conquer Cancer!

This past summer, Coach Bill Carter was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  Not long after, he found out that he would also be fighting Leukemia.  Due to having two different cancers, his treatments are extensive, including multiple chemotherapies.  Not only are the medical treatments and doctor's appointments expensive, but Bill and his wife, Bonnie are unable to teach at this time.  They are quickly burning through their sick leave.  Once sick leave is gone, they will no longer be paid.

Coach Carter was the men’s basketball coach at Texas A&M-Kingsville in the 1990s and led the team to two Lone Star Conference championships. He was inducted into the Javelina Hall of Fame in 2002. Coach Carter is currently the head boy's basketball coach at Medina ISD.  He has positively impacted the lives of many.  If you are able to help, please Help Coach Carter Conquer Cancer!
