Losapio Brothers House Fire

Donation protected
As many of you already know, Stevie Losapio died tragically in a fire on October 23rd.  His brothers Johnny & Butchie came home and opened the front door to find black smoke pouring out of their Ocala home. Butchie made several attempts to go into the home and save Stevie while Johnny went for help.  The fire department responded and was able to put the fire out but Stevie did not make it.  At the time the fire was put out it was mostly in the bedroom and bathroom. The brothers were only able to take medicine out of the home and were told not to remove their vehicles as the fire was put out and was not in the garage.  Around 3 AM they were taken to their younger brother Jeff's home.  The next morning the family went back to the home to retrieve clothing and valuables and to board up the bedroom window that had blown out.   When they got to the house they were shocked to find that the cars and everything else was destroyed.  Around 4:40 AM a neighbor told them they looked out the window and the house was totally engulfed in flames.   Unfortunately they had no insurance on the home and on one of the vehicles, which were show cars.   It was beyond anything they could imagine.

The Losapio’s come from a faithful Italian family & originally came from Sunrise, Fl.  All of the Losapio’s are big car enthusiasts and most people who know them know of their love of cars.  It is hard to believe that something like this could happen and all of us are trying to wrap our heads around this.  Butchie, Johnny & Stevie have lived together in that home for many years and now the remaining two brothers are homeless and were only able to walk away with the clothes on their backs.    The remaining siblings of Stevie include his sister Josephine, brothers Gary, Butchie, Johnny & Jeff. At this time Butchie & Johnny are living with their younger brother Jeff and his family.  Anything you can donate for them to help get them on their feet would be appreciated.  They have always been independent and this is very difficult for them to not only lose their brother but their home, furnishings, clothing and personal memorabilia.  May God bless you for any help you can offer and may Stevie rest in peace.
