Protecting our Essential Farm Workers!!

Our mission is to provide farm workers with personal protective equipment (PPE). Many farm workers are not able to afford critical work equipment due to low farm wages. PPE will allow these workers to be protected from the many hazards of often dangerous farm work. Farm workers often labor excessive hours to be able to provide foods for tables around the globe, and we want to work together to raise relief expenses for them so they have food on theirs.

Farm workers  frequently have to work under extreme temperatures with hazardous breathing conditions stemming from chemicals such as pesticides, and more recently, the air pollutants from California wildfires. Many of these hard-working people are immigrants who come looking for better opportunities and arrive with no money, inadequate clothing and no equipment to make a living. Farm workers face the danger of animal-acquired diseases as well as pesticides and other chemicals. Our goal for this campaign is to help relieve the workers to provide for their families by providing them with PPE such as gloves, face masks, long sleeve shirts, hats, and comfortable shoes.

The money collected through your generous donations will be sent to our campaign partner LULAC - a Non-Profit 501c3 charitable organization. League of United Latin American Citizens is the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans. We will allocate the funds and purchase high quality clothing from Uniformity, a Dallas, TX uniform store that specializes in providing durable line work wear accessories and clothing.
