This is our son, Jordan Anderson and he has been diagnosed with a kidney disease called IgA Nephropathy with Crescents. This is a disease where an immune response causes kidney damage. Docs discovered from a kidney punch biopsy that the kidneys are already 1/3 scar tissue, 1/3 under attack and only working at 20%. Jordan has undergone 170+ blood tests, several CT scans and ultrasounds, an echo cardiogram, had fluid around his lungs, an enlarged spleen, severe chest pain, and has had a revolving door of specialists that were finally able to determine what the problem was.Jordan is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Brittany, They are living in Chicago while Brittany attends law school and Jordan has been working for Chase. They are both 23 yrs old.
Even though they have health insurance they have come to realize that the deductibles and copays for this year will also have to be met for next year and they could use your help!
Jordan had three rounds of dialysis already last week and today (Mon Oct 26) began his new routine of dialysis twice a week going forward. Doctors determined the best long term treatment plan will be Cytoxan Chemo. The Chemo can cause infertility which means they are looking at IVF possibly in their future. Doctors have told them and are preparing them for this situation. Prayers and miracles are welcomed and needed, but money would be helpful too!
