Build a Bus for Books
So I listed a retired Double decker bus for Sale on behalf of Tc cars for £2000....
Wow the response was ridiculous over 5500 views and 100 messages in 1 day.
A lovely lady called Martina from St Edwards Rc school in a near by village contacted me about the vehicle and suitability to be converted into a community library and sensory area for special needs children.
I actually work as a minibus driver for special needs children myself aswell as having 2 boys with autism. Obviously this is something very close to my heart.
Tc cars have kindly donated £500 themselves towards the cost which then leaves £1500 which the school have paid. It is this what I am trying to raise to give back to the school to help further with the conversion costs xSome money has been raised already by the PTFA but I would love to be able to raise the money to fully donate the full cost of the bus then even more money can be put to the new library conversion.
Im sure anyone who does donate will be more than welcome to come to the grand opening and will also be kept fully up to date with progress through the conversion. I will also upload a video of the donation day and responses x
Im so happy that this Bus will be put to the best possible use in my opinion I feel so strongly about it I just really want to do something myself now to help.
I am very hopeful to reach the target with everyone’s help so please help as little or as much as you can,thank you so much I will make the first £5 myself x
