Fund for Lea's Future

Sy Andruss was known for his upbeat attitude and constant smile, and of course, for his love of the Eagles.

Above all else, Sy  was a loving, involved father to his daughter, Lea. His sudden death has shocked all of us and left us with a Sy-shaped void – but Lea has lost the father she adored, and who loved her fiercely.

Sy was incredibly proud of her in all areas, and was very involved in making sure she could participate in her passion – competitive dance. She recently graduated to en pointe in ballet, which is a significant milestone – and Sy was so excited for Lea in achieving this accomplishment, and for the new challenges it would lead to.

Sy’s passing has not just left Lea without her dad, it has left Danielle a single mom, now without his financial support. This is a scary, stressful time for both Danielle and Lea, and so many of us are at a loss as to what we can do to help them. We can’t take their pain away, but we can help out by making the immediate future a less scary place.

For that reason, we have started this GoFundMe to help both with immediate expenses, and just as importantly, to honor Sy’s love for his daughter by creating a fund to help Lea continue with her competitive dance passion.
