If you haven't seen the video I've made about why the hell I'm attempting to reach 100,000 steps in one day, I'm attempting to hit 100,000 steps in one day with a few friends on the 21st November.
The plan is to record 100,000 steps in one day on my smartwatch. This will require an early wake up (4 am) with constant walking all day to ensure I have enough time to fit in the required steps. I'll be walking with friends also attempting the challenge, and this is just to keep morale up throughout the day as well. If you want to know anything else about what it is that I'm doing, just ask!
Now let's be real, for those of you that know me, I'm not the fittest of the bunch, so for me to hit 100,000 steps is a pretty amazing achievement for me.
And so, for every donation that you guys make, I will match it up to the total value of $250 - NO MATTER WHAT. If I fail to reach 75,000 steps on the day, I will TRIPLE my contribution. If I hit 75,000, however, do not reach 100,000 I will DOUBLE my contribution. So if you donate any small amount that you have, hopefully, others will do the same, and we can donate $500 to a very deserving charity!
