Samos Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund

On October 30th at 7:51am a devastating and deadly Earthquake measuring a Magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale hit our Beloved Island of Samos.
The effects of this Earthquake caused several Tsunamis and numerous subsequent smaller quakes followed. This deadly Earthquake, the tsunamis & the aftershocks have left behind destruction and mayhem on our beloved Island. Numerous homes have been destroyed throughout all the villages and towns. People have been left with no Electricity, in some cases no drinking water and without a place to sleep. Hundreds of fellow Samians have been left homeless and are forced people to shelter and sleep in their cars and live in temporary tents.
There has been Mass and complete destruction to churches and monasteries that have stood and added to the culture of our beautiful Island for literally Hundreds of years.
The single most devastating and horrific event however was the loss of two children, this deadly earthquake in its wrath has untimely claimed two young, beautiful and innocent lives; the two Angels Klary and Aris were taken from us but will live forever in our hearts and minds.
In the coming weeks the Island will need our support in providing our fellow patriots Greek - Samians with many of the bare and daily necessities. They need food, water, clothing, medicine, paper goods, diapers and lots more to help people get back into their homes and lives.
The funds from the Go Fund Me account will be deposited in an account set up specifically for the Relief Fund. It will then pay for the necessities that we are buying for distribution.
The funds are being used to buy all necessities needed and distributed to the people who have been direct affected by the earthquake. We are working directly with the distribution on the island who is spearheading the relief efforts on the island.
If this Pandemic has taught us anything it is the fact that you can never bet that tomorrow is a given and that compassion for our fellow man is a true must. We humbly ask all our friends, family & neighbors and humanity in general to PLEASE HELP the people of our unique and beloved Island of Samos, Greece in their time of need.
