Finding secure housing

Hey everyone! If you don’t know me, my name is Saige. I’ve been on the front lines in NYC for months fighting for Black liberation and against the brutality of the NYPD. I’ve been in this fight almost every day while facing unstable/unsafe housing. My current living situation is unsafe and I really need to get out of it.

I’ve found a new living situation that will be much more stable and safe, to move in it will cost $1,450 for security deposit and first months rent. I don’t expect to raise all of that, but anything helps. My only other option is to move back home to Albany, which is the absolute last thing I want to do. Living in Albany would obviously limit the amount of time I can be in the streets and I just can’t do this. I can’t stop fighting with everyone. I need to be in the streets continuing this fight.

Anything that you can help me with would that would allow me to continue living in NYC in safe housing is really appreciated.
