Larry's Lung Cancer Fight

Donation protected
Larry was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2015. In June 2015 he had 1/3 of his right lower lung removed. Then chemo. He made it through 3 doses of the harshest chemo and lost a good portion of his hearing. Then in December 2015 right before Christmas he had his thyroid removed. It had actually pushed his wind pipe over!

2017 the cancer is back. A 6 day hospital stay and another part of his lung removed. Nerves burned to reduce some pain for a while. At the follow up his lung had collapsed. Another unpleasant 6 day hospital stay. A chest tube inserted while awake is a horrible thing. It was his 3rd one. He has been through so much pain!

We had to wait for two months after surgery putting us in February 2018. Another scan.
The very worst day of our lives! His cancer is back and it has quickly spread outside of the lung. There is no cure. If he chooses no treatment he won't make it through the year. He had a permanent port placed and has been getting chemo and immunotherapy drugs every 3 weeks since February 2018. To help him have some quality of life.

It has been hard. We have had help from many people. We are very appreciative. It has helped us survive. I can't thank all of you.
