About Inclusive Outdoors Project:
Inclusive Outdoors Project aims to host events that bridge the gap between affinity spaces and connect them with outdoor based organizations. Inclusive Outdoors Project will partner with guiding companies, climbing festivals, ski clinics, and outdoor rec based organizations to cultivate affinity spaces in events that already exist, and foster relationships to create new events that promote inclusivity in the outdoors.
Why are we doing this?
Affinity spaces are a safe environment where people from similar backgrounds and lived experiences can come together to foster relationships and educate each other.
How the Scholarships Work:
The cost of entry into outdoor recreation is a huge barrier for most people. By offsetting some of that cost we are able to make these sports more accessible to a wider range of participants.
