Pray. Ready. Study. These are three fundamental requirements for personal growth and development in your Christian walk. I think many people are lacking the knowledge or guidance to move past reading the bible--but actually study the scriptures and use that study to evaluate their own personal walk with the Lord Jesus.
I have created a daily bible study for the Epistle of James to help facilitate personal study and evaluation, along with an outline to facilitate family or small group study and discussion. It is a tool you can use to disciple others in your family, or with a community group of believers.
This study on the Epistle of James takes you through 5 weeks/35 days of introspective evaluation, one chapter per week. Each day there is a prayer to begin, a call to read the chapter assigned for the week (1 week = 1 chapter), and daily questions with expanded reading and follow-up questions to dive into your knowledge of the gospel message. At the completion of one week (one chapter), there is an outline to facilitate group study. Group study can happen in your home with a spouse/children/family, or with an organized community group.
There is space allotted for your responses and each day ends with a scripture memorization challenge, to help further establish your knowledge and faith in the Word of God.
This study focuses on the Epistle of James, and is based scripture taken from the King James Bible, the New American Standard Bible, and the Complete Jewish Bible.
This study guide, created in a workbook format, is designed for private, intimate one-on-one time with the Lord, to offer a place where you can become transparent, vulnerable and open before the Lord. It is also designed to review and discuss on a weekly basis, as a community of believers.
The funds generated for this project will manage the creation, design and publication of the Epistle of James Study Guide.
My goal is to fund this project by end of December, 2020.
