Leflore County Search and Rescue Boat Fund

During one of the worst weeks we've ever experienced, our family really got to know the wonderful group of people that make up the Search and Rescue teams in Leflore County, MS.
They worked tirelessly morning to night. They never gave up the search and we are grateful to them. They petitioned the board for funds to buy more boats(not forthe cost time). But funds are hard to get approved. We, being a family that knows boats, asked them about the boats they wanted. There are 2 that they would like to add to the 1 boat they currently have. They each have specific designs that would be useful in different settings.
Our family decided to start a fundraiser in honor of Wesley Gerome Haddon Jr. His body was recovered Nov. 14, 2020, after 6 day search. The dedication shown by the Search team was inspiring. We hope to be able to help them in their efforts to be able to better serve our community. Our family would be proud to know that something good could come from this tragedy.
