Imagine trying to make it as a filmmaker, but you have no camera. Not only do you not have a camera, but you have little to no shot of ever obtaining one due to the low standards of living and high importation fees in Uganda.

I met Dan 3 years ago. When he showed me his work, I was immediately blown away by his talent despite the limitations he had been presented.
Rather than letting his lack of resources stop him from pursuing his dreams, he instead focuses on what really matters , the stories of the people in Entebbe.
I can't help but to ask myself...what if. What if Dan had come up with the same resources that I was handed here in the US. I know for a fact, he would be one of the greatest filmmakers I know.
So I want to surprise Dan with new gear and give him a shot. A chance to make it in this industry, and I need your help! I wouldn't be asking if I didn't think Dan was special.
I want to get Dan a new camera, lens, accessories like media necessary to operate the camera, a new computer to handle the files of a nicer camera, and being able to pay for the importation fees.
