CVESD Cares -- Giving Back 2020

Each December for at least two decades, Chula Vista Elementary School District staff has come together to celebrate the holidays while raising much-needed funds for the Chula Vista Welfare Council (CVWC). That partnership has resulted in thousands of dollars being used to support local families with food boxes, grocery gift cards, and toys for deserving children.
This year, CVESD staff is implementing “CVESD Cares – Giving Back 2020.” All donations will be sent directly to the Chula Vista Welfare Council. Any contribution is welcome and will be used to provide food, toys, and basic necessities to local families. More than ever, the need exists to support this wonderful community organization’s work as the ongoing health crisis has negatively impacted the amount of food and toys collected thus far. Together, we can bridge the gap between what the Welfare Council has on hand and what the need is in our community.
Whatever you decide to contribute, we thank you in recognition of what the partnership between CVESD and CVWC has meant to our nearby community and for the difference you will be making in 2020. Let’s join together through “CVESD Cares – Giving Back 2020” to help make sure everyone experiences the joys the holiday season can bring, even during a yearlong and difficult pandemic.
