Greetings Lovely Souls!
I am raising money to create free dancing events in the community that promote self-love awareness by the act of dancing to house/ electronic music. The money will be applied for the following: Big wireless speakers, external battery charger, fold-able tables, chairs, rent fees for local spaces/venues and DJ fees. My vision is to do local public outdoor gatherings and envision renting a venue (space) to allow more freedom with the music volume (Social Distancing will be required at all dancing events).
Self Love House Dancing Movement! Initially the idea for Self Love House was to promote self love by grooving to House and Electronic Music. An atmosphere where individuals could gather to dance and celebrate their lives freely. Unfortunately, because of global circumstance that we all encountered in 2020, this idea was put on hold and that’s when Self Love House Podcast came to fruition. Today, Self Love House continues to plan outdoor gatherings that will be at no cost to individuals that want to celebrate self love by grooving to house and electronic music. Dancing is a great way of expressing ourselves freely and aids in de-stressing from our daily lives. That is the reason that SLH’s founder Evelyn decided to combine her passion to promote self love awareness by the act of dancing to electronic/ house music.
Note: Self Love House encourages old school house music lovers to join the gatherings, as most of the tracks will include funky/ disco house, 90’s house, deep house and electronic music.
Self Love House also promotes self love awareness through a podcast, which focuses on interviewing individuals on their thoughts/ experiences in life that come from self love.
Future Vision: As Self Love House grows into an organization, the vision is to also provide free work out classes, healthy cooking classes, meditation classes and self development workshops.
Self Love House’s mission is to promote self love awareness in local communities in many ways as possible to create a more mindful world- Today, tomorrow and always!
All dancing events will be FREE and need your support to maintain at NO COST.
