Support children of addicts and alcoholics

My Name is Andrew and I am a recovered Heroin addict. The impact of my addiction on my children was huge and they have suffered a great deal of trauma. Whilst I was in rehab a number of years ago my wife and I decided that we wanted to help other children who suffer from their parents drug or alcohol misuse. I have spent the last 2 years researching trauma, parental substance misuse, adverse child experiences and different forms of therapy. We are now in a position where we have developed a number of services that will help children develop resilience and we also want to be able to deliver free therapy. We need your help to get started. Costs will go towards staff training, DBS checks, website, printing resources and general start up costs. We hope you will see our passion and help us provide a much needed service. We will be so grateful for any donations. The UK is crying out for a service like this and the children are crying out for help. At the present time there are hundreds of thousands of children suffering in silence. We need your support to give them a voice. 
We want our charity to be run in such a way that the majority of money raised will go to support the children. Wages will be kept at a minimum. This is a calling for myself and my wife, not a money making scheme. Please give generously and help change lives
