Ustenko Family in Ukraine Lost Home due to Fire

Donation protected

On June 22,  my cousin’s family who lives in Ukraine lost their home due to a fire caused by a lightning strike. Everything burned down within minutes  before  fire trucks could even arrive.  Praise God everyone was able to get out of the house safely before it was too late.

They’re a family of five and expecting another baby in a few weeks. The father, Oleg, is a hard working man who works full time and serves as a lead pastor voluntarily in his free time. Now they’re left with nothing except smoke damaged pots and pans!

Their community, family and friends are coming together to help with basic needs like food, clothing, shelter at the moment but it will take another decade to be able to rebuild their home. There’s  no resources in Ukraine that can help them get back up faster. If you have it in your heart to help them by either giving anything or sharing this post it will be a blessing to this family!

All donations will go straight to this family!!!
As I already mentioned my name is Svetlana Upyr. I am the cousin of Oleg Ustenko through my Father and his mother which are siblings. I am a U.S. citizen now living in Seattle, Washington. The funds will be spent on rebuilding the whole house from ground up, hiring laborers to lay the brick, other laborers to put the insulation sheet rock . Electricians to put the wiring in throughout the whole house and the lights. The plumbers to do the plumbing throughout  the whole house. Door and window installers to put in the doors and windows. Framers to frame the whole house which will be an additional wood framing inside the brick foundation building, And also the roof is framed with wood. Then the roofers have to be hired to do the roof. And after all that is done. They need the additional funds for furniture, appliances, linens, etc. And clothes, which were ALL gone due to the fire. All this is the least this family needs to have a home again. And ALL the funds Will go directly to the family in the rebuilding of their home. Because this is real and not at all easy for anyone to lose a house, especially in Ukraine where only the upperclass have the better means to get insurance on their house and one that covers lightning striking it. I just cant imagine Oleg, his pregnant wife, and 3 kids aren’t worried that they are a burden to anyone they are currently staying with until their house is liveable again. I don’t mean to manipulate but to be as specific as I can be so that those who are willing and able to help may do so with a more vivid outlook of the situation. And as for those that can’t help with funds but are willing and able to do so in any other way, please contact me personally at [email redacted]. As for ALL of the funds, they will be directly transferred to the family of this tragedy via Western Union unless another way is made available. If that is the case I will update you all here. But for now, it will be  western union.
Thank you so much for all your support!
