Dream Business Destroyed by Fire

Donation protected
I'm posting this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, Nick. Anyone who knows Nick knows that he's consistently the hardest worker in the room, ambitious, tenacious, and it's tough for him to ask for help. Late in the day on Father's Day, after working for most of the day but still managing to make it home for some time with his family, the shop where he's been continuing to grow his business caught fire. The building suffered heavy structural damage and has been boarded up with no timeline as to when, or if, he can get in to see if anything is salvageable. Everything he needs to do the job he loves (besides working another full time job), his passion, up in smoke.

My brother is a tough guy, but I don't think he'd mind me telling you this is absolutely devastating to him. He's built a business from the ground up, starting in his own tiny garage, and had just managed to get into a large space where business had really taken off. Dozens of people are relying on him, and trusting him, to get their jobs done, but without equipment, he's sidelined. Everyone is, of course, so thankful that no one was hurt and he's so grateful he was able to get his customers wheels out and for all the help from the fire department.  My goal here would be to raise enough money to get him up and running with some bare minimum of equipment to get him back to running at at least partial capacity.

Finally, we are all cognizant that these are incredibly tough times to be asking for money. In the grand scheme of things, we are all blessed and things could obviously have been worse, but it is a blow, nonetheless. This has been his dream for many years and it's been destroyed in the matter of minutes just when it was really taking off. So many of you have seen his work and follow him on instagram, many more have hung out and know what a good guy he is.  This dude works two full time (more than full, really, I've never seen someone work like him) jobs, has a family (including a 2 year old who keeps everyone on their toes, lol), and still will take the time to help people out when they need it or educate people in his area of expertise to help keep them safe.

If you have a few bucks you can send his way to get him back up and running and doing what he's passionate about, that would be amazing and we would all be forever grateful. And if you don't, and you have a spare minute to head over to his instagram page, take a look around, and maybe leave some words of encouragement, that would also be so appreciated.  Finally, thank you for reading, and stay safe out there -<3 Tara (Nick's sister)
