Hello all! My name is Zayd. I'm transmasc/nonbinary, and a full-time college student with no insurance.
Saving my stimulus checks and money from working at my dad's business, I've already reached half of my estimated surgery price!
I'm really hoping to be able to get surgery this year or early 2022 so I can start working on my goals to move out of my dad's house.

**update June 2021**
(just recently started trying out the name Elias online)
figured it was time to be a little more specific with some detail in case you want to know:
the quote I got from my surgeon was $5500-$8000 but I won't know for sure until the consult which will be about $100, plus the full amount is due 2 weeks before surgery so I can't schedule until I know for sure I will have enough. I also do not yet know if the quote price includes post-op treatments and such.
They also require a therapist note so I will need to pay for sessions in order to get that (cheapest I've found is &100 per session but I haven't found a trans-friendly one in my immediate area yet)
I will also need to visit a cardiologist soon to make sure everything will be okay for surgery and I have no idea how much that appointment will cost.
the amount I have saved thanks to stimulus checks and working for a year is around $3000, but it looks like I may have to eat into that a little while moving out this summer. I am still working and saving, but it's slow going so any little bit of help is appreciated
