BLACK QUEER IN NEED OF EMERGENCY HOUSING
Donation protected
Hello everyone! My name is Jenny I’m a black queer woman living in Seattle wanting help to move out on my own. Since coming out to my family things have been far from easy. My mother is constantly shaming me, telling me I’m an embarrassment to the family and that I have the devil inside me. NOBODY should ever have to feel the way I feel or go through this because of their sexuality. My living space is toxic and I can no longer stay here. My mental health is deteriorating and all I can wish for these days is freedom, peace of mind and the ability to get away once and for all. I’m currently living at home because I’m a student and I don’t have the financial support to move out on my own. I lost my job early March due to Covid, and my vehicle in a car accident so I’ve been at home more than I’d like to be. ... and it’s driving me crazy! I did find a new job, however my assignment doesn’t start until July 21st and I’m currently seeking a new place to move into and new vehicle. Please if you can support in anyway possible even if it’s just a share/repost. Thank you to anyone in advance who’s taken the time to read this, as it takes a lot for me to come on here and be vulnerable about my current experiences and struggles.
