The 519 responds to the evolving needs of the LGBTQ2S communities, from counseling services and queer parenting resources to coming out groups, trans programming, and senior’s support. They provide free, accommodating and non-judgmental space where individuals, organizations and non-profit groups can meet, organize and work towards their goals.
519 - The Trans People of Colour Project (TPOC) (https://www.the519.org/programs/trans-identified-person-of-colour)
Transition Support is designed to provide assistance and support for people in the process of matching their inner gender with their outer image, with the purpose of adjusting and complying in the best possible way by reintegrating themselves in their true gender as healthy members of society.
bOlder Together bOlder Together is a free, year-long, intergenerational series of monthly skill-building workshops and community social events for LGBTQ2S folks.
Umbrella Network-Queer Mental Health (https://www.umhn.ca/)
A network of queer and trans-identified mental health professionals who work primarily in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, two-spirited (LGBTQIA2S) community within Toronto. We are a group of highly skilled, compassionate, radical psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers who have shared expertise in supporting and promoting health and wellness within an LGBTQIA2S mental health framework.
