Join Bandaloni on the Bruce Trail-A One Man Band Artistic Adventure into the Unknown

Wow, what a time; a time to pause, a time to reflect, a time to gather strength and a time to change the world as we all move forward!

The fallout of the COVID pandemic negatively affected artists’ and musicians’ primary source of income on a global scale and I became one of those unfortunate casualties. As many of you may know, my annual revenue as Bandaloni the One Man Band, relies solely on entertaining families and businesses via live performances throughout North America. Fairs, festivals and live event cancellations are happening daily and my business bottom line has been deeply affected - completely dried up, truth be known.

I am calling upon you for your financial support and emotional encouragement during these strange times. In return, I promise to bring a little light back into the picture for everyone to enjoy and be inspired by.  I will accomplish this by hiking Canada's oldest and longest footpath, THE BRUCE TRAIL! It’s a 900km nature trail; that’s 559.234 miles, starting in Queenston, Ontario, at the top of the Niagara Escarpment and finishing at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, in Tobermory.
The trail mostly follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, one of the thirteen UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves in Canada

Beginning Canada Day, July 1st 2020, and throughout the next 4 months, I will hike the trail and bring you along for the adventure via my social media platforms including FB, Instagram and YouTube. My travels will be digitally captured and professionally documented by Darcy Muenchrath of “Hinge Visual.” Darcy is an outdoor documentary filmmaker and storyteller from Vancouver, BC http://hinge-visual.com

You can expect the following:

Stories, indigenous & local histories, songs, poems, pictures, interviews, laughs, perilous encounters with nature, storms, vistas, cuts and bruises, a few tears, culinary camping, special guest hikers, art-making and much much more!

I’m a creative person, one who is rarely idle! I feel a calling and have found a new purpose with a cause.! I feel a need to ‘paint’ with a different palette of colours and share the results! I believe in The Bruce Trail and all paths looking inward that lead to personal discovery and self-fulfillment. I believe these journeys profoundly change ourselves and the world as a whole.

Your support is ultimately important and together we can make this journey count!

Think of your donation as your “ticket” to a different kind of carnival; one you can enjoy anytime, anywhere! Bandaloni stomps hundreds of thousands of steps each and every fair/festival season bringing joy and smiles to all. This year, there’s a new stomping ground and WE will meet there!

Your generous contribution will cover some of the following related costs: Travel to and from Trail Heads, fuel, filming, hiking equipment, editing, music-making, accommodations (if required), digital advertising, social media, meals, special guest per diem, maps, memberships, apps, all business-related expenses, rent and food etc.

In advance, I thank you profusely from my humble heart and wish everyone peace and love profound during these strangest of times. Stay safe people.

Bandaloni a.k.a. Paul David
