Karen Harris Memorial fund

Donation protected
Karen Harris has touched many lives in our community. She was a teacher’s assistant at Coosa Elementary, and a member of the Baptist Church of Beaufort. She was one that you wanted to meet. She always had a good story to tell and project she was working on, a smile to share and a good giggle. Karen fought hard to get as much time with her family and friends as she could. She battled cancer for thirteen years and gave into time last week. She and her family made many sacrifices to get her medical treatment needed. Karen and her husband Bill walked hand in hand. Together, they loved their daughters Katie and Gracie with all of their hearts. Katie graduated in May from Converse College and is pursuing a career as a Physician assistant. Gracie will be a Senior at Battery Creek High School this school year 20-21. Your help is welcomed. If you can give monetarily to help relieve them of medical bills, thank you. If you can help by praying (for comfort and peace in finding their new normal), thank you. If you can send Bill and or the girls a letter of encouragement, thank you. The service for Karen will be at the Baptist Church of Beaufort at 11am on the 27th. Any funds beyond medical and funeral costs will be donated in Karen's name to Amedysis Hospice Care.
