The University Club Family Fund

Hello past, present, and future family members of the University Club. Due to Gov. Desantis’ most recent order we have unfortunately had to close our nightclub again. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our income drastically, and now we have to fulfill employee and entertainer payrolls, as well as major business expenses without a foreseeable date for us to open at a well enough capacity so support expenses. We have provided a safe home in Gainesville for the LGBTQ+ community for 30 years, and now we need your help.

This fund aims to not only catch us up on club expenses, but to provide some sort of income for all of our furloughed entertainers and employees. We have thought long and hard about making this, but now is not the time for humility. We are all trying to make it through this the best we know how, with love. If you don’t have anything to donate, please share, and we can’t wait to be back with you soon. UC will ALWAYS be your place to be.
