Hi, my name is Mason. I am 9 years old and live in the Rhondda Valleys countryside. The beautiful surroundings have inspired my two main passions, kayaking and cycling.  I’m an active member of both kayak and cycling clubs locally and spend as much time as possible either on the water or exploring new trails.

A friend I met through kayaking has recently had an accident while cycling. This person has inspired and taught me so much about the things I love and when I heard this news I was devastated. I wanted to do something to show him how much he means to me and others at the club so to show my support I have set myself a big challenge.  I am attempting to cycle the Taff Trail from Brecon to Cardiff Bay. A distance of 88.5km, on 2nd August 2020.

I am taking on this challenge to show how much I care about my friend and to raise money in aid of Headway Cardiff &South East Wales (Rookwood Hospital) to show my appreciation for all the great work they do.  Any sponsorship you could offer will be most appreciated, please check out my Go Fund Me page below.
