Fundraiser for Jorge's memorial

On June 10th, 2020 my brother passed away. Fundraiser funds will be used for costs associated with cremation and memorial services. Any excess will be set aside as a trust fund for his son.

If you knew Jorge or even interacted with him briefly you would know how jovial and personable he was. He was a compassionate, loving individual. He was a person with the characteristics I wish to emulate. He would call my parents every day, multiple times a day to see how they were doing. He would bring our family food multiple times throughout the week. During my hardest times in medical school, he was there to support me. We would text each other good morning/good night daily. He was the individual that I trusted with my life. We love you, Jorge.

We grew up in an unfortunate community and life dealt him a crappy deck of cards. If I could switch places with him I would. His death was unexpected and has caused great pain. He is survived by his parents, brother, sister, and 8-year-old son (at the time of this writing - 6/19/20).
