Helping the homeless

My name is Nicole and I am a 20-year-old nursing student with a passion for helping the homeless population.  This past year, I have had the opportunity to listen to the stories of those affected by homelessness. Now, I would like to write a book that includes the real-life experiences of individuals who have somehow been touched by homelessness. I would like to give a voice to those that are often silenced and dismissed. 

The money raised will go towards helping me publish this book, while also providing me the opportunity to help the homeless population. Funding will also be put towards printing flyers to recruit participants for written experience contributions. Ideally, I would like to donate some money to under-funded organizations striving to help the homeless. As I collect submissions of individual's experiences with homelessness over the next six months, receiving funding over this time would be helpful in maintaining my book project, while contributing to the community in a positive manner. 

Your support means that I can fulfill the dream to help those around me. Supporting me also means supporting a community of misunderstood and marginalized individuals who often fall under the raider.
