My nephew Gabriel was badly burned on June 6th from a campfire accident. After 15 days and two different surgeries for skin grafts, Gabe is finally home recovering as an outpatient!
Our total goal is $20,000, the old campaign raised over $5,000! Let reach the $15,000 here!!!
To say this has been a trying time, would be an understatement. My sister and her husband are doing everything they can for Gabe! My brother-in-law is a firefighter and this truly is his living nightmare! He has always put his life on the line for others and now his own family needs our help! My sister is hands down the most loving mother on the planet! Gabe is 1 of 7 children and with 9 mouths to feed the expenses are rising! The amount of medical bills could easily be a million dollars over the rest of Gabe's growing years!
Gabriel's Journey is far from over. He's only been out of the hospital for a few days and we've already been advised he will need additional skin grafts as he grows, starting under his arm first. This isn't just a one time thing for him. For the next decade or so, Gabriel will face additional painful skin graft surgeries, physical and occupational therapy, medications and special items for his care.
