Please help us get Emma home

Our sweet Aussie, Emma got parvo... we have no idea how. We did everything right, she didn’t leave our home for the first six months of her life, other than her occasional trips to the neighbors house where we know there was no parvo. We are devastated. She’s been staying the last four nights at the Bakersfield animal hospital. Her white blood cell count was 3700 on Friday. A healthy amount is between 5,500-16,400 for a pup. When we called yesterday for her update we couldn’t talk to her vet but the receptionist reassured us that her numbers were going up and staying on the IV was helping! We were so excited, we were expecting to bring home our baby this evening. We called the vet again around 4 expecting our happy news but we were very quickly shot down. We received false reassurance yesterday. Her numbers have now dropped down below 1000. We are at a loss. We have maxed out our credit card at $2,000 and we have no more. The vet says the only way he thinks she has a fighting chance is if she stays 3-4 more nights. he says by appearance, they think she would make it but her body says otherwise. She is trying!!  We hate asking for help, it isn’t in our nature but I truly wouldn’t feel like we gave Emma her best shot at life if we didn’t at least try. Thank you for reading. We understand if you have nothing to give, please just pray for a miracle for our sweet Emma

Unfortunately, due to Covid they will not allow us to visit her...
