COVID-19 Emergency Tuition Assistance Funding
Donation protected
Want to join us in making a permanent difference amidst this COVID-19 pandemic? We are raising money to benefit the COVID-19 EMERGENCY Tuition Assistance Funding Program, and any donation will help make an impact.
The COVID 19 environment has reinforced the importance of our Tuition Assistance program. The repercussions of the pandemic on our urban Catholic schools is significant. For the vast majority of urban Catholic school families, tuition is their single budget luxury. To respond to lost jobs and lost income from COVID 19, families have had to cut into rent/mortgage payments, food and utilities. They have little margin. Before the pandemic, they did not travel, have second homes, or engage housekeeping and gardening services. There simply are few budget expenses to cut. Catholic school tuition rises almost instantly to the top of the family budget reduction options. These decisions cascade down to a family's choice to continue a Catholic education for their child/ren or to send them to a poorly rated public school option.
We have full confidence that with YOUR HELP we will emerge from this crisis stronger than ever; all the while boasting the fact that we will have not had to say "NO" to any family who truly desires a Catholic education for his/her child/ren. One of the key reasons for this optimism is our school’s long-standing and well-known tradition of tuition assistance and our reputation for academic excellence and programming. As a community, we can emerge from the pandemic, stronger together.
