I'm homeless now, Our family needs help.

Donation protected
I, unfortunately, am in a bit of a predicament.

Right now, my family and I are homeless.  My children and my wife live in a motel doing odd jobs to get by, most of which are below poverty level wages from Postmates.  I lost my job during the Covid-19 Crisis in April.  We, unfortunately, cannot sustain this and will not be able to pay for our hotel after 7/5/2020.  My goal is to move to a cheap apartment but at the moment without the deposit, I am short a good $800 dollars and in order to move in, I will need that deposit.

Any help is appreciated.  I was at a happier time in my life as an IT Specialist, I can provide services for people who need basic computer desktop support, consultation, or even basic web services in exchange for any donations received.  It is hard to hold your hand out to the public, friends, and expect help from strangers who may not understand what it means to be homeless.  If you're ok with renting out a room cheaply to a family in need, feel free to get in contact with me.

Being homeless is a constant struggle to make any money you can, find shelter, pretend you're not expensively around the general public, and provide what you can as a man to your family...  It often gets you judgment and society can be very punishing of people who don't have homes without often having compassion.  Anyone can be homeless, a lot of Americans are a paycheck away from it.  Some may say get a job, but you need a shower, clean clothes, a reliable vehicle, and a place for your family to stay safe whilst you work.

Sometimes people judge your life decisions.  I just wanted to be free, I am tired of living life ashamed, being afraid of this virus, and shutting down my life over it.  I was kicked out for attending a protest and though I may have had friends who would've taken me shortly after I would thank them, but inevitably, they weren't able to help, I had no choice but to leave and come back to California.

The Pandemic has made this equally difficult as there is limited shelter being that religious services are gone which provide many of the shelters in my county, as well as many public services, are limited to office closures.  Getting a place is also difficult given that many don't like to have large families rented to one room, or they may be afraid of the virus and you're subject to all sorts of credit and income checks.  There are no places you can go to easily and often masks are the last thing on my mind, it's bellies of my children and wife, knowing they'll be ok...  The pandemic ultimately is what drove me here.

Getting out of it is difficult.  Ultimately, I just wish my children a life without this stigma and do everything I can to make this a 'vacation', to make this stuff fun, but it's really hard to do, sometimes heartbreaking.

That is why I'm asking for your help, most of what I earn is either given to the fuel tank, to essentials, or to a room of sorts, I would use this towards obtaining a security deposit for an apartment.

Thank you,
