Amita St. Joseph Medical Center on July 4th locked out 720 nurses in an Unfair Labor Practice dispute based on the nurses demand for the hospital to stop illegal intimidation of nurses. The nurses are also protesting their inability to provide safe patient care because the hospital will not hire enough nurses.  Many of these nurses need money to meet their regular expenses like mortgage payments, health care and other basics.  These expenses are coming due now and anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated.  The leadership of the St Joseph Nurses has asked for and received great support from among the fellow nurses.  Now is the time to provide some financial support to assist the nurses that care for our community and our union brothers and sisters.
