Yusef Tahiru Memorial Scholarship Fund

Yusef had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that would bring you along before you even knew what was funny.  His curiosity and love of sport including soccer and running combined with his fascination of the human body and all the things it could do nurtured his interest in his chosen filed of study, Kinesiology. But his passion for education and a continuous thirst for knowledge and exploration is what drove him  to Vietnam to teach English and travel the world. He passed away too young, but no one can doubt the impact he had on everyone who knew him.

In order to honor his memory, Yusef's family will be seeding a scholarship fund in his name to aid those seeking to further their education in STEM. The details of this scholarship fund are still pending but if you are interesting in doing something, Yusef's family asks that you direct donations towards the seeding of this scholarship fund in lieu of donations to the family.
