Soon to be homeless - Relocation to a Better Life

Updates posted!! ❤️ Hi! Lots of you know me. And probably also know how bad I am at asking for help...... We had many plans to save up to get out of Tazewell, VA and build a future with my wonderful partner, Tj. But literally all of them fell through. We can’t build a life in Tazewell and we had plans to move to the Lexington, KY area to be near my family, get back in school, and lock down better jobs/careers. We are so ready to create our future and that is not in Tazewell, VA. And in our current crisis I’m not sure how else to get enough to relocate and build a better future for myself, Tj, my Lucy-pup and mama’s dog Mini, and Tj’s mama, Gini (a stroke patient). Very soon we are going to lose the home we live in. It’s a long story and not fixable at this point. It’s his mama’s house and lots of back property taxes are owed. But the house is also falling apart literally (completely screwed up roof, entire house sinking into the ground, bathtub held up with a carjack in the basement, etc) and not able to be saved. I’m fairly positive the only reason they haven’t come to take and auction the house off is the Coronavirus and the act put in place. But soon that will expire and they will be coming for our home. And that’s all hoping the house doesn’t completely fall apart by then. No matter what we need funds to be prepared for a move in the very near future. We don’t live in an area where I can make enough to save to move. Not without a car that could withstand an hour both way commute. And we don’t have that. Thanks to one of my many plans falling through. A good friend suggested trying a Go Fund Me. We hate being in the position to ask for help, but we have run out of options. Our souls are dying here and I know with a fresh start in a new area with more opportunities, we can do more and be better. We just need a little help to afford a move (deposit+first months rent, pet deposit, uhaul, and utility deposits). We will understand if you read this and can’t help. Completely and totally. Please share the absolute crap out of this for us instead. The more eyes see this, the more chances we can make this happen. But if you can, my family really, really, REALLY cherishes your support.
