This fund is for my mother, Debbie Bentzler. She is a road construction worker, and on Friday, the 17th of July, she was struck by a vehicle doing her job in an intersection when a woman came into it hitting her at 35 miles an hour. She has always been a safety first type of person and was doing everything correctly but because of this she had to have emergency surgery to save her life on the night of the accident. When she was hit, her aorta was partially torn and would have died that night if she didn't have the amazing medical staff she had. She survived that surgery but needs more because her leg, knee, hip, ribs, and left hand that were all broken as well. Now she's looking at surviving the upcoming surgeries and months of therapy to recover. She's going to need all the support she can get to get through this. My mom is one of those people who would help anyone that needs help, she's always honest and willing to do whatever her family and friends needed. She loved her job and now she won't be able to do that anymore, she loved helping to build the community she lives in but that was taken from her. She's always supported and loved me and is one of the best grandmas I have ever seen. She used to love going hiking and camping with my girls and now she might not be able to do anything like that again. Please help her get through this so she can get back to being the best grandma and mom again.
