Help a black nursing major stay in college!

Donation protected
The pandemic has affected many people, including myself. Since graduating online this summer, I have been unable to find a job this summer to gather funds for college for this fall.

More about me!
My name is Nia, and I just graduated from high school in late May.
I am 18 years old, black and of the LGBT+ community. As you expect, life has been exceptionally difficult these past couple of months. Quarantine started in March and it's been really stressful. I'm still in quarantine and have left the house less than ten times. In the past few months, no one around me (my area) was hiring and i couldn't find a job. I tried stores, restaurants, elderly homes, and even gas stations. I haven't gotten a single job offer.

On a different note, my tuition came up to about 20k. Financial aid was able to cover half, which left me to pay off the other 10k, which I thought my student loans would cover. It may not seem like a lot to others, but to me considering my financial status, is a huge amount. Unfortunately, my student loans didn't cover about $3,000, so I had to borrow half from my sister to stay registered for classes and on campus. The other half of the money is due in mid-October, and I have to come up with that money. I'm asking for $1,800 to not only stay in college, but to also pay for class fees. I've spent about $70 out of pocket because my chem classes want me to pay for ingredients for labs. Please consider donating, every dollar and cent counts. Any time is a good time to donate and/or share! Thank you again for reading!
