Help Ryan, a Marine Vet, with Massive Medical Bill

Donation protected
On Sunday, April 19, 2020,  Ryan Wilson drove himself to the hospital with agonizing stomach pain.  After almost passing out, he was admitted to the ER to try and figure out a cause and solution.  Ryan, a 34 yr old Marine Veteran, had never been in so much pain in his life.  He was quickly transferred to the ICU and the  doctors decide to put him in a medically induced coma for 48 hours to manage pain and try to understand why his organs were failing.  Two days turn into two months.

Each and every day was life or death.  Ryan battles organ failure, multiple surgeries and procedures, blood clots, heart stops, and life support.  Ryan's medical team never gives up even when everything seems hopeless because they can tell Ryan never stops fighting. As a last ditch effort, Ryan is put on the ECMO machine for 30 days and he fights for his life. After fighting and overcoming heart coding, heart shocks, ventilators, trach procedures, aspirating, pulmonary embolisms, multiple organ failure, etc - Ryan finally wakes up.

Once Ryan wakes up, his next few weeks fly by and his progress is staggering.  Ryan is a fighter and he will give everything he has to this.  The hardest part is over for all of us but the hardest part for Ryan has just begun.  After being in a hospital bed for three months, Ryan will now need to learn how to stand, walk, move around, and re-learn all of the basics.  He will need in home rehab - physical therapy and occupational therapy as well as in home medical care.  This is incredibly difficult for him and his family and is only now just beginning.

On top of this incredibly difficult journey, Ryan tests positive for COVID-19 and is sent back to the ICU.

Ryan really needs our support.   Lets help Ryan as much as we can so he can heal and get back to doing all of the things he loves - hiking, fishing, biking, and hanging out in nature.

This GoFundMe will help Ryan pay for rehab and in home health care.  The financial burden of his medical bills and post hospital care is overwhelming.

Please donate what you can.  Forward this GoFundMe to everyone you know.
Lets give back to someone who has given so much to this world.
