Hey everyone, I am Nate Carter and I am hoping to raise enough money to begin my company GAWDLY.
I started out 20 years ago as a young entertainer in the business fulfilling some very minimal roles in a few popular TV shows & movies. I was a dancer, actor, and artist pretty much my entire life. It became my literal passion. Going on tour a few times and creating bonds with so many amazing creatives was a dream come true.
I was raised by a very humble family so I truly just loved the arts as a way to express myself and have a positive outlet. I knew lots of people who abused the outlet for personal gain and turn out to be terrible people. But I am personally into changing that culture for the future.
This is what brings me to the creation of Gawdly. I wanted to brand something so spectacular that I could one day fund my dream of a Creative Center. A place where creatives could come as, designers, artists, producers, film makers, and entertainers to grow. I wanted to create a safe space, a dream place, with a learning environment to bring the best out of people.
So for starters I wanted to create a underwear line dedicated to body empowerment. To strive to be the best version of yourself and it starts with your health. These funds will be dedicated to product perfection, marketing, funding employees, and distribution from our headquarters. We hope to create a brand revolved around positivity, creativity, integrity, ambition, and love.
Funds will be allocated to throwing fashion shows, art shows, and music concerts as ways to involve my community. These events will entice consumers to come out, meet, and greet their favorite Gawdly creatives. I plan to build a brand around consistent faces with a business model built on quality.
