How about Paying It Forward to help someone who just needs a 'leg-up' to get themselves back on track?
There is no time like the present to draw on community support to help our neighbours and those you see doing it tough – and we know it’s particularly difficult given the impact of Covid-19 on all of us, but especially those who have had their hopes even further diminished by this unprecedented indictment on our lives.
Career Partners Plus is a non-profit organisation in South Australia supporting job seekers for over 10 years, and we can see how a sudden downward spiral affects people’s livelihoods such as depression, anxiety, loss of optimism and trust; manifesting in a barrier preventing them from moving forward with new lens.
We all know how difficult it is to find positive assistance out there and dare we say it, Government services set up to support job seekers just don’t hit the mark with help needed to turn lives around. Each week we have people contact us for help however we no longer have the financial means to provide services for nothing.
Your donation would mean the world to someone in your community in a disadvantaged position and needs support to get things back on track. Funds raised will be used to provide individual support to people who need it and would not be able to afford it otherwise. Our experienced and qualified career practitioners work in a holistic way to help people discover their meaning and purpose in finding employment.
Any contribution no matter how small would be appreciated – every $100 will be enough for a person to receive sufficient intensive help to feel optimistic about the way forward with their employment or life goals. This includes life skills and goal setting, career counselling, job search, resume preparation and advocacy to other specialist support where needed.
