Samuel Cail

In late November 2019, Samuel Cail was diagnosed with stage 4 spinal cancer that has no effective treatment. It's called glioblastoma multiforme, and Samuel's prognosis is poor. He underwent neurosurgery that caused significant paralysis on his left side.
Follow-up MRIs in the months that followed showed the aggressive cancer was growing and spreading.
On July 19th, Samuel was taken to the ER with neurological symptoms. An MRI confirmed that the cancer had spread to the brain and Samuel's days on earth are coming to a close.
This is heartbreaking. As a mom myself, I can only imagine how hard it is for Brent and Susan.
Samuel and his family have been dear friends to us. When we ourselves, were going through the valley of the shadow of death, Samuel and his large family stood with us. Financial gifts, meals, and words of comfort were faithfully sent our way by the large Cail and Williams family. When we finally made it out of that same hospital where Samuel is in now, Samuel and his siblings would come and play with our son. Samuel, particularly helped him conquer his fear of water. Samuel has such a huge and compassionate heart.
A few days ago, our son saw Samuel and ran to him to play with him. He did not understand that Samuel was now in a wheelchair and couldn't play with him like he used to. But Samuel graciously found a way to still play with him. When I saw that, I had to turn and wipe away some tears.
Brent and Susan were hoping to bring Samuel home for his last days. But it is not likely to happen.
Please consider giving towards his medical bills and funeral expenses. All funds generated by this campaign will be designated to Brent and Susan, Samuel's parents.
