WELCOME TO R A W O R A N G E
We are the world's first Streetwear brand aimed at raising money to fight Multiple Sclerosis.
My name is Adam and I have Secondary Progressive MS. I was diagnosed about 7/8 years ago.
I went to bed one night and when I woke up - life as I knew it had changed forever and my journey into MS had begun.
As I came to terms with my diagnosis, I deleted most of my social media as I didn't want people to feel sorry for me or see me in a state of decline and just went to a 5-6 year slump of self-pity.
Late last year I went back of Facebook to re-connect with old friends and to join MS community pages and that is when I seen 'Raise MS Awareness' selling T-shirts selling shirts to raise MS awareness... or so I thought. The more I looked into them, I seen that they are just a cash-grab with NO money going anywhere near MS research and they do it with other ilnesses too, praying on others.
This angered me but (I forgot to mention, I am a graphic designer) and I HATED the cheap looking designs (bad design grates on my soul) and the ironic 'MS gets on my nerves'
I knew I could do better and, also, give 30% to The MS Society to help combat MS.
And so I got to thinking... and thinking isn't easy with Multiple Sclerosis!!!!!!
Fast forward to now and not only have I designed the streetwear, I've done the website (which I knew nothing about) and promotion myself (OK, a guy showed me how to put the site together - but I done the rest myself!!!!!!!!!!).
Just with this, I feel like I have come so far already and even though I can't have my 'old life' back - I am looking forward to the next chapter of my 'new life' with Raw Orange - AND I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
I want to grow this as organically as possible but I need a little help at this, the last hurdle - to start and market the brand.
I have already agreed a deal to have the brand showcased on YouTube channel Living Big In A Tiny House (over 3.5 million subscribers) and his weekly videos have millions of views.
To my wife, kids, father, sister and the people who have supported me in this (Bryce and Rasa LBIATH) - THANK YOU!
And to all the MSrs out there - This is for us!
