Kite Legend School - Puerto Plata Kitesurfing

Bibby Burgos started Kite Legend School in 2014 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Currently, after a few months of nationwide government shutdown, we are thrilled to be back on the beach and excited to share our re-opening with you! 
While teaching yoga has been available online, the same can not be said about kitesurfing. Our school has taken special precautions respecting national regulation and IKO standards and are thrilled to announce our brand new beach front training center! We will be moving in through out the month of August and can't wait to share this space with you.
This fund is going to cover the loss of the forced closure over the last 5 months and the slow (but stoked and steady!) start-up we'll face this season. We need to pay rent and re-stock gear moving into 2021 to guarantee your future kite lessons and training with us.

Bibby Burgos is a trained IKO Level 2 instructor and his staff goes above and beyond to ensure a safe learning environment for all levels. We offer classes to beginners, wave coaching, photo/video packages, accommodations, down wind trips and more for our kiting community. Additionally, Bibby serves as the president of the Asociacion de Vela de Puerto Plata which protects our local environment while ensuring safe + accessible beach zones for watersports on the local North Coast.
