Let's fill The Gambia with children books

The Gambia, also known as “The Smiling Coast”, is the smallest country in West Africa. The Gambia has a 51% literacy rate. Increasing literacy among children can contribute to economic growth and reduce both poverty and crime.  Increased children literacy can also promote democracy and civic engagement. Our goal is to gather and ship as many children’s books as possible that will be distributed to families, community centers, and schools. In the meantime, we need assistance to cover shipping costs while I look for other sources of financial support.
