Eli Mukes

Hi, my name is Kendra Mukes. My family and I have decided to share my little brothers story. As some of you know, Eli is currently in the ICU.

On Saturday night, August 1st, my brother
was brutally attacked at a local bar in St Simons Island, Georgia. It was time for the bar to close, so the bouncer was trying to move everyone outside. My brother was attacked and targeted by a 6’4 bouncer weighing about 367 lbs according to a coworker of his. This man is 32 years old, while my brother is 21. This “man” was aiming to severely hurt my brother. He hit him in the head more than one time, resulting in my brother going unconscious. He dropped to the concrete. His friend luckily was there to call an ambulance. Eli was rushed to the hospital in Brunswick Georgia where they did a CT scan and discovered bleeding on his brain. The hospital then sent him in an ambulance to Jacksonville,Florida where he has a second CT scan revealing several more brain bleeds. His face is severely swollen, making him almost unrecognizable and he has multiple facial fractures, including the temporal bone and on his skull. He has no memory of what has happened. He does not understand where he is (the hospital) he cannot tell you the presidents name, year, my moms name or fathers name including many other things. 

We decided to make a go fund me page, to raise money for his medical bills which are climbing tremendously. We also hoped that this money could help him with living expenses during his therapy because he will not be able to work for a while. We love him so much, and are so concerned for him. I set the goal at $6,500 but there is really no specific goal. We just want to help him and I don’t know any other option. Please share! No one deserves to be attacked likethis!!! We love you Eli, so much!! I will be withdrawing the funds and transferring them to Eli’s bank account whenever Eli is out of the hospital for his bills.
