Hello, and thanks for checking out our Go-Fund-Me campaign for our latest creative project: Portrayals: stories inspired from survivors of the 1918 Flu Pandemic!
It’s been a while since our company, Guiltner Creative Productions has opened up a crowdsource campaign, but we wanted to give all of our friends, family, and colleagues a chance to be a part of this very exciting project!
We’ve created a series of 4 short episodes highlighting many of the stories and accounts of people who lived through the 1918 pandemic. We have researched scores of diaries, personal letters, and accounts of these people and plan to have actors portray versions of these stories and characters in a dynamic way!
Why now? Why this? All of us in the arts industries have suffered financial loss and a standstill of our work these past several months. We believe it is imperative to not allow the arts and entertainment industries to stop. So we are partnering with a non-profit organization called InnerCity Arts as well as ArtStart based out of New York City. These programs aim to provide inner-city children with after school opportunities in the arts to raise up and encourage the next generation of artists. Now, more than ever, these programs need our support.
Every dollar we raise here will not only provide funds for us to produce our show, but we will also give a portion of the proceeds to InnerCity Arts and ArtStart to continue their efforts.
