Allie Stevens (CCC & Mental Health Research)

On June 19th of 2020 we lost a light in this world. We lost a Best friend, a Sister, a Daughter, and truly unique person. Her name was Alessandra Stevens. I want to raise money for two different things that I am positive Allie would want to see flourish. I will be splitting the money raised 50/50. The first place I would like to donate to is called the Castro Country Club. (CCC) This is a place where anonymous groups hold meetings for anyone and everyone who need help. This is also a place that I saw Allie find a home, a family, and a place to belong. Allie would walk into the room and every single person in there would turn their head, get up out of their seat, and immediatly greet Allie with extreme amounts of love. Allie introduced to me to the CCC and I am a strong believer that this place was one the biggest support groups in Allie's life. The other place I would like to donate to is a research program by the name of Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. (BBR) Allie did not only struggle with addiction but also mental illness. I know that the severity of Allie's condition was extremely hard to medicate and properly diagnose so I would like to put money towards this in hopes that we can make a difference in treatment for the many more to come who also need help. My hope for this fundraiser is that we can bring everyone who loved Allie together to make significant change for the many more people to come that need help in the same way that Allie did. I believe that Allie would like nothing more than to see us get together and continue to help other suffering people. Thank you so much. We can do this!
