Tornado relief fund-Pittman family
Donation protected
On the morning of August 4th Hurricane Isaias tore through Lancaster, VA. With this hurricane came heavy rain and winds. These winds formed a tornado that tore through the Pittmans home while they were sleeping.
Luckily a fire alarm went off and one of the family members was able to scream to everyone to get into the basement. The noise they heard sounded just like a train tearing through their home. While the family is safe their home and surrounding property is not. Their home sustained excessive roof and siding damage, not to mention the countless trees strewn throughout their property.
The family plans to work through insurance for the larger claims, but as we all know that will not be able to replace everything they have lost.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help make this tragedy easier to bear and show support for the Pittman family.
Any help you can provide will go directly to the family. We appreciate your support!
